Help Prevent Child Exploitation

Help Prevent Child Exploitation

Children in the UK are experiencing an increased risk of exploitation. Statistics from the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) show that the number of child victims identified in the UK increased by 45% between 2018 to 2019. COVID-19 exacerbated this issue, with increased financial hardship, thousands of children out of school and youth homelessness on the rise. This needs to stop.

We are working with STOP THE TRAFFIK, to support their research into Child Exploitation in the UK and explore how different individuals’ and organisations’ perspectives vary on this issue. The aim of this research is to understand gaps in knowledge and perception between children, support providers and caregivers.

We would be so grateful if you could complete a short survey to help shape our research. Sharing with your network to help boost our reach would also be incredibly impactful.

Please note, your response to this survey will be completely secure and anonymous, and respondents do not need to have answers or opinions on every question to make a valuable contribution to the project.

If you care for a child or young person under 25 and wish to participate, please submit your email here and you will be contacted shortly. Please note, your email will be deleted from our records 3 months after the survey submission.
