We are proud to announce that we have just launched our 2025 Survivor Safehouse Fund. Our aim is to raise £100,000 to support survivors of trafficking through the renovation of existing safehouses across the UK. These safehouses are crucial to supporting survivors to safety and security, and reducing the risk of re-exploitation.
Since 2018, TRIBE Freedom Foundation has partnered with 8 incredible front-line charities, supporting 822 survivors. With the launch of the 2025 Survivor Safehouse Fund, we hope to be able to empower even more survivors, providing them with holistic care and a safe and secure place to recover.
We are incredibly grateful for our ongoing partnership with the amazing charity, Ella’s, with whom we have worked with for seven years now, granting a total of £505k. Over this time Ella’s has grown from supporting 28 survivors in 2018 to 125 in 2024. Last year, Ella’s opened two brand new 2-bed safehouses, one proudly purchased with support from TRIBE Freedom Foundation funding.
Our mission is to not only help fund these safehouses, but to make them warm and welcoming spaces for the women living there. The TRIBE team have organised a series of volunteering days to help decorate and renovate these houses, getting them ready for survivors who have described these homes as life-changing places in which to recover.

Last week, the TRIBE team were joined by Tesco. Volunteers from Tesco worked hard all day, painting, building furniture and gardening, leaving behind a bright and beautiful home. A huge thank you to everyone from the team at Tesco, you all did an incredible job!
Across their 6 safehouses, Ella’s is now able to house 17 women and two families at any one time. However, the demand for these rooms is high and once a room becomes available, it is filled within hours. This is why, at TRIBE, we’ve launched our 2025 Survivor Safehouse Fund, to help fund safehouses and empower more survivors to rebuild their lives in safety and security.
