Let’s build the TRIBE Unseen Gym!!

Let’s build the TRIBE Unseen Gym!!

In December 2017, TRIBE Freedom Foundation granted £80,000 to Bristol-based charity Unseen to support their home for the victims of UK modern slavery and maintain the Modern Slavery Helpline. Both provide vital support for victims and survivors in unimaginable turmoil and distress. Discover more here.

Recently, Unseen contacted us to see if we wanted to co-create a fitness centre for the home, to help survivors to overcome their exploitation, feel stronger and ultimately feel GREAT! We were immediately keen to get involved and now we want to galvanise the community to come together to build the TRIBE X Unseen Survivors’ Gym in March 2018.

We are reaching out to our partners and the entire TRIBE community to help us create the gym, including:

  1. 2 x exercise machines (rowing machine, exercise bikes or cross trainer)
  2. Kettlebells, curl bar and barbell
  3. Roll mats
  4. Boxing gloves and pads
  5. Small fridge
  6. Clothing

If you have any ideas or want to help. Just fill in this form: here!

The project will be completed with minimal operating costs – we will be delivering and renovating the gym ourselves, providing the manpower and the machines.

If you would like to make a donation to the project, you can text GYMU33 to 70070 to donate £5 towards the construction of the gym. In particular, we’d love to put funds towards installing a state-of-the-art sound and video system in the gym.

We go further and faster together: to fight modern slavery and end human trafficking.
